Or original birth certificate can be troublesome for plenty of people. And if you aren’t clued in that it’s required when you show up to vote and then get turned away, that’s a nightmare. Especially if you were waiting a long time, and won’t get another chance to vote.

I have all those documents but I’m an exception in rural areas with people who have never even left the state, let alone traveled abroad.
