1. Remember, in the 2000 runup, Dumbya was asked what he would propose to do

with the surplus ...

"Tax cuts."

And when asked, in essentially the same interview, what he would do when faced with a recession ...

"Tax cuts."

I actually have the scan of the newspaper article where it points out he said "Tax cuts, so help me God."

Republicans' strangle-hold on the idea that tax cuts for the upper class are a cure-all makes snake oil look like penicillin ...

and aren't they always pooh-poohing ANYTHING proposed by a Dem to help reduce (not advertised as erasing the deficit/debt) as "not able to eliminate the debt" by itself???
