...companies are trying to use "carbon capture" as a way to continue burning fossil fuels with a little greenwashing on top, although once we stop actually putting CO2 INTO the atmosphere, carbon capture might help a little in getting it back out.

And this article is right to focus on "fossil-fuel based Hydrogen", there's just no reason to keep producing Hydrogen from fossil fuels when we have so many ways to produce "Green Hydrogen", which doesn't produce any CO2 at all to produce.
