It's a combination of things, one of which will be taken care of tomorrow (root canal.) I'll probably have to keep taking the antibiotics until their done, and I will be happy when that's over. They are part of why I'm not feeling well. They wreak havoc with internal flora, even as I need them for that tooth.

Anyway, first I'll report what I put up on your other thread and then add another experience I had a little earlier than that:

My first experience with telepathy happened back when I was still at university, getting my graphic design degree (which I don't use now) and had met an interesting young woman in one of my classes (can't remember now if it was one of the art classes or art history.) Anyway, we were talking out in the parking lot about spiritual matters and she admitted that she had various mental abilities, including telepathy.

Behind me was one of the entrance-roads to the university (it's kind of "secluded" in a wild/natural setting surrounded by bayous south of here.) I could hear someone driving towards us, but didn't bother to look. She "proved" her ability by asking me what I 'saw' in my mind then. I described a small white car, maybe an old Datsun, and turned to my left to watch the very same car (and overall scene) as was in my mind's eye following the road as it passed our parking lot. She'd put that mental image into my head!

I've never experienced that kind of telepathy since. We never did anything else like that, either, and drifted away as friends.

~~~
Now, the other experience I had wasn't telepathy, only that either it was a vision or another one of those portals. I've always thought it was a vision, but maybe someone else can figure it out.
The time period was early 1980s, early Spring, and maybe spring break, or I was between degrees (just gotten my drafting degree, and was contemplating getting a BA as there were no jobs in drafting at that time.) All I remember distinctly was it being a mild early spring day, and I was reading some science fiction book by the pool (my parents had a nice home with a pool, and a deck we built on later.)
Whatever I was reading had nothing to do with the movement I saw out of the corner of my eye. I believe it was to my right, where nothing should have been there, not even the family pet. Partly because the family dog was nowhere near as large as the black panther I saw sauntering up to me.
There was no malicious intent from it, either. More like it knew me or I was a friend to it. Of course, I looked to see what I thought I was seeing, only for it to fade away when I did that. I never got a direct view of it, yet my peripheral view seemed quite detailed. I think it was male, too, though my memory of that impression has faded a bit over the years.
I've never had a waking vision like that before or since (other than the telepathy above.) Everything else has been auditory, and those almost always upon waking. I can get into those in another post
it doesn't have to be "charged" as it were, just recorded. NuttyFluffers Jun 2013 #6
You used the word "charged", but recorded works as well. whathehell Jun 2013 #7
