right-wing gun lobby try to twist the argument by insinuating that long guns do not factor into the gun violence problem and as a public health menace in this country. There is sound reasoning behind the Democratic Party's platform calling for reinstatement of the AWB, and tighter gun control legislation for ALL guns.

This Group is a safe haven Group for the discussion of how to implement gun control in the USA, and is based on the principle that the NEED for gun control has already been established. If you want to argue NRA and Second Amendment absolutist talking points, the RKBA Group is where you should be posting.
