would be an imminently strong statement as to the Democratic Party's faith in the American People's ability to understand two sides of a long time complex argument and would be a stark juxtaposition to the Republicans' weak, rigid and myopic 1950s McCarthyite mentality.

I also believe the chances for peace would be greatly improved, along with the Democratic Party's chances in November, up and down the ticket.
