Everyone who wants to is cordially invited to send t rump a post card.....
On March 15th, please send Donald Trump a postcard that publicly expresses our opposition to him. The more the merrier. From all over the world. Hopefully overwhelming his postal service and knowing his ego, harass his worthless ass.... with his unpopularity and failure. Feel free to also let the media know.... and the politicians standing with him. Let's bury the White House post office in pink slips, all informing Donnie that hes fired.
Each of us every protester from every march, each congress calling citizen, every boycotter, volunteer, donor, and petition signer if each of us writes even a single postcard and we put them all in the mail on the same day, March 15th, well: you do the math. No alternative fact or Russian translation will explain away our record-breaking, officially verifiable, warehouse-filling flood of fury. Hank Aaron currently holds the record for fan mail, having received 900,000 pieces in a year. Were setting a new record: over a million pieces in a day, with not a single nice thing to say.
So, sharpen your wit, unsheathe your writing implements, and see if your sincerest ill-wishes can pierce Donalds famously thin skin.
Prepare for March 15th, 2025, a day hereafter to be known as #TheIdesOfTrump Write one postcard. Write a dozen! Take a picture and post it on social media tagged with #TheIdesOfTrump ! Spread the word! Everyone on Earth should let Donnie know how hes doing. They cant build a wall high enough to stop the mail.
March 15th, mail your messages to:
President (for now) Donald J. Trump

Shrinking
I originally started Shrinking series over a year ago and quit mid first episode because as a psychologist I knew that the behavior of the therapists in the series was inappropriate. Real therapists wouldn't talk that way with patients, invite them into their home, etc. So, I bailed.
But, I kept getting pestered by friends who said they loved it.
So, I dived in and fell in love with it by suspending my reality and just went with the story. I watched one or two episodes daily. The acting was great, the story line great, loved the ending.
Loren and Rose 2022 on Amazon Prime
Watched this movie last night. Talk about a hidden gem!
It stars Jacqueline Bisset and Kelly Blatz and is the story of two people, one an accomplished but old actress and the other a relative newbie to the film field who are going to be working together. For the most part it's a conversation between two people at dinner which can be boring but for those interested in a conversation about the movie industry it is excellent. Kinda like My Dinner with Andre.
On a side note, when this movie initially came out in 2022 my husband and I took care of Kelly Blatz's home while he and his wife went to the opening in France. I was a member of Trusted Housesitters and had been for 5 years which you can sign up for and stay in people's home for free and take care of their pets and house. It was fascinating watching Blatz in the movie versus how he was with us personally. In the movie he plays a very sweet, young, gay man who is insecure. In real life, he was a nightmare to us. He complained vociferously about us to the Trusted Housesitters company. The complaints were resolved, but I told the company that we would no longer be a member. His complaints were that I moved a book from his bookshelf to the coffee table and that we did not take care of his indoor plants well. My husband, in my opinion, did take care of the plants. He's a plant junkie. Anyway, we apologized for moving the book and bought him new plants. Our daughter who lived near him delivered the new plants and he and his wife were extremely nasty to her.
Nevertheless, his acting in the movie was excellent. You could see the subtle shifts in emotion on his face and in his dialogue. Let me know what you think.
Now a fire is close
Fire in Castaic moved from 50 to 5000 acres in 1 hour! We're not in either the evacuation or warning zone but will be next. Got everything packed. If we get in warning zone I'm leaving. Hopefully my husband will leave, too.
A Complete Unknown
Please see this movie. I saw it yesterday and would love to talk about it. I dragged my husband "kicking and screaming" to see it with me. "I'm only doing this for you," he said. At the end of the movie he said "One of the best movies ever."
The screenwriter, editor and director wove history, music and relationships from the 1961 to 1966 time period in a perfect way.
Let's talk.
Hot Frosty
Lots of fun! I'm not into Xmas movies but this one was great. In the previews I didn't really like the lead guy, didn't seem likeable, but in the movie he was charming and extremely charismatic plus a good actor. I highly recommend this movie. We were all in tears at the end, tears of happiness.

White Bird
Saw White Bird yesterday. I have seen no press regarding this movie, no awareness at all. So
I went just because nothing else interested me at the closest theatres near me and I needed
a break in the middle of the day.
Anyway, this movie should be nominated for best movie, best screenplay and best acting for
the two leads who are probably in their late teens. Helen Mirren is also in the movie and could
be nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
Helen Mirren plays a grandmother who comes to her grandson's house. He's a young teenager
who's been kicked out of school for bullying another student. She decides to tell him what her
life was like so that he could learn the long term consequences of bad behavior. The movie
then goes back to her life when the holocaust was starting and goes on from there. Mirren's
younger self is played by a wonderful young actress who gets involved with a young boy.
I don't want to say anymore about the movie other than that I was periodically in tears and/or
sobbing because it was so moving. At the end I couldn't move.
Why aren't the critics talking about this?
Conclave
Saw this yesterday. Highly recommend it. The acting, cinematography, casting, set design, music, directing and story line are outstanding. A rare experience, to see all the parts click together.
It starts a little slow but hang in there, the tension increases more and more and the ending is quite a surprise.
Map of new transit to LAX?
Is there a link to the proposed new transit to LAX?
I can't find one in the article in the LA Times.
