Flipping on TSF?

I live in a solid red state. Sometimes it seems my vote is a waste of time. But I know better. Many I know, know better. I personally have many female friends that are right wing supporters. They have always voted republicant. So we're getting close to the election and I finally asked them who they were going to vote for. Out of 10, 9/10, said they will never vote for Trump again. When asked if they will now vote for Harris, 7/9 said yes. I'll take it. r

The other day CNN noted that Harris had more small money donors over TSF by a 3 to 1 margin. Therefore more donors overall. Guess who collects more money? That's right, it's Harris. That's great news.

TSF's rallys have been consistently getting smaller. People always leave early. Harris' crowds are consistently high and no one leaves. Again, more good news.

So what does all this say? I see all these things as very positive.

F the media with their fake poll numbers, their inaccurate predictions(IE: Harry Enten), and their weak bullshit support for the correct person.

I still say Kamala will win. And win by a huge number.

Post office is f'ing around again. WHY?

That friggin asswipe DeJoy is at it again. I called to check on when my absentee ballot was delivered to the post office, yesterday, 9/30. They said it was sent on 9/24. I live on the outskirts of a large metropolitan city, 10 miles from the main downtown post office. Ever since DeJoy has taken over, I have had mail delays that have been unheard of. Weeks for local mail? A year ago, my mail tracked to downtown and sat there for 3 weeks? It just so happened it was checks for my checking account, and was being tracked. Do they have a "purposely delayed section" of the Post office? I don't think so. Every time I talk to PO employees, they tell me Dejoy is out to destroy the post office. They absolutely hate him and don't have a problem telling you this. When DeJoy first moved in, he destroyed many sorters with no replacements ready to deploy. Why? So why hasn't someone done something about this loser? Now it's election season, and its pretty obvious what an absentee election ballot looks like. Are they purposely delaying them. Are they destroying them. Of course, Dejoy was a direct result from Trump. It's time for this loser to go. Ya know If I performed this bad at any job I may have had in my career, I would have been fired immediately. On top of all this, I heard there are 3 rate increases coming again within the next year for this shitty service. WTF is going on at the post office?

If I don't get my ballot soon, I am going to raise holy hell.

Social Security question

Did I miss something with my Social security deposit date? Anyone else?

I just went back and found that instead of my monthly deposits occurring on the 4th Wednesday of the month, it is now being deposited on the 4th Monday of the month. (Actually shows a deposit of Friday, but can't use it until Monday). This appears to have started in July.

Is this happening to anyone else? I'm not complaining, as I guess the question is why? And of course SS never wants to send us anything by mail, unless it is absolutely necessary.

Why is this race even close?

His cognitive decline clearly noticeable? Even today, still thinks people are eating pets. This guy has been out of his mind since 2016, lost every election and case against him since entering the political arena, and yet the slanted media still posts that the race is extremely close, razor thin. A few say Harris in winning bigly. 4-6%?

How can this be? Does anyone listen to his words? Watch his actions? Is it just me, or do others think that the race, at this point, should be 80-20, for Harris?

WTF is going on with people in this country? Are lies the "in thing" now?

How can there be this many people brainwashed, to where they throw away all logic and intelligence to make a clear and rational decision? I've never seen anything like this.

And hopefully I won't see anything like this ever again, after November.

Holy shit. Be prepared for the consumer to get screwed on your healthcare advantage programs.

It's that time of year to make a decision on your healthcare for next year. I just got my 2025 Medicare benefit package from Aetna. Everything is worse. From Medical, to Drugs, to ambulance rides, to dental, hearing, vision, fitness. It goes on and on. I'd like to hear from others on this subject. Especially ones that have started receiving the bad news. It's pretty horrendous. There are so many negative changes that I can't list them all here.

I find it very strange that this is happening. Up to now, each year it has become better for us seniors as far as healthcare is concerned for Medicare consumers. Is this political? Is it greed? I don't know yet. A lot of us have used the medicare dollars to purchase these "Medicare Advantage" programs on the market in the past. It was proven to be better than original Medicare. You always got more for your buck. Those days now appear to be over.

So why now? Why so drastic? I will be contacting my Medicare broker tomorrow and talk to her about this whole situation. I'm sure Aetna is not the only company doing this. If I find out anything new from her, I'll post it here.
