and pronto. I don't like it any more than you but the extremely qualified, some would say overqualified candidates like Hillary, Harris, Mayor Pete..what's the problem? I see it as a TON of voters aren't overly bright and feel threatened by certain intellectual politicians. Call it the 'dumbing down' of America if you will.(as well as a mixture of racism, misogyny and homophobia too) They like Trump because he's on their level folks.They don't care about his transgressions because he can communicate on THEIR low level so they dismiss his utter lack of morals and scruples. Sad but true.
So for NOW that leaves me with Walz. He's an 'every person' kinda guy and has shown the ability (albeit on a smaller level) of appealing to many demographics of voters. I know my opinion won't be popular but I believe it to be true. I've been voting since 1988 and at the end of the day Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and Joe Biden could connect with all levels of voters. It's something Dems have to figure out because our frontrunner(s) should be front and center as soon as jackass takes over in early January.
NOW comes the hard part for the Repukes: actually governing.
I've voted since 1988 and can tell you NONE of the Repuke Prez's along with their clown show administrations could govern: HW Bush, W BUsh, Trump.....all miserable failures. Now this ass wipe and his gaggle of criminals have the keys to the candy store. Gonna grift and rob and pillage until there's nothing left. Worst part is they'll gerrymander more states and depress the vote even more than they already have. Fucking pond scum, all of them.
What makes it worse is that Approx, 16 million dems sat on the sideline and chose not to vote. Fucking irresponsible clowns one and all. We have them to thank for the forthcoming pain as much as we do all the Repub's that voted for him. We would've won easily if all the Dems and a good chunk of Indie's would've just voted.

But not just any woman mind you, an articulate, brilliant, persuasive and intelligent woman. You know, like so many MAGA(s) wish deep down they were either A) married to similar or B) jealous because KH is the kind of woman they could never be. I've bounced this off a few people tonight and it hurts but it's the truth. The negative, venomous, nasty BS that Trump spews appeals to the lowest common denominator in this country and fear unfortunately sells.
We'll persevere and this fucker won't break us but he and his gaggle of dipshit buddies sure will try: Bannon, Stone, Flynn, etc...and it'll be a long 4 years but if things get bad enough maybe, just MAYBE we can set a permanent course correction in '28. Hang in there DU'ers.

My daughter is a Sr. at MSU and she just texted me. No specifics yet but she will be attending the event and has enlisted her circle of friends to attend. They've all voted for KH already

Pretty frustrating that the orange shit gibbon runs ad after ad after pop up ad that are mostly all lies on this site as well as daily kos. Gotta pay the bills but it's just.....disappointing I guess.

REPUKES overplaying their hand already tonight?
Scalise directly blaming Prez Biden and the Orange tool saying on truth social 'they tried to take me out'....this is their first rodeo when it comes to this sequence of events and I'm pretty confident freaking out and blaming Joe ain't the way to go. Makes them look like the unhinged ass clowns that they are. No self control or self awareness. In other words...anything but Presidential.
Glass half full time: How this event COULD turn race toward real issues for real voters...
We've already heard from the concern trolls about how this event will be used by the Repukes to galvanize their base. So what? They are who they are and won't change. Conversely, this could absolutely be a turning point in that Biden will continue to push major issues that effect the voters, especially the indies. I think it'll make a SHIT ton of people really prioritize and ponder how cataclysmic another Dump term would be. How much chaos and BS he'll rain down on our country. Or it's just wishful thinking on my part but I don't think so.
