As Cohen testified, Trump never says directly that he wants people to commit crimes, but they always know what he means.

He had three options once he started testifying:

1. Take the fall.
2. Throw Trump under the bus.
3. Pin it on Giuliani.

Sondland thought he was getting a lucrative deal for buying his ambassadorship. He thought he was going to get dividends for his hotel chain. He dove straight into the swamp and ended up full of leeches.

Giuliani will likely not take the fall here. If the House can compel him to testify, I am sure he will yield fruit.
