this election is a HUGE mandate - for decency, for empathy, for inclusiveness -

for science and curiosity and learning, for ALL Americans, not just rich white straight Christian men, or the hypocritical deluded teabaggers, or brainwashed 24 hour Faux watchers.

Let's get rid of the filibuster, let's use the Dems new-found toughness, and support President Obama to finish all that was started - and make it even better - over the next four years.

And so many other races went Democratic... and so many ballot provisions went against the Republican desires -- gay marriage, legalized marijuana, the Dream act in Maryland. There may be a couple of messages here to the Republicans: We Aren't as Nasty as you Hoped, and Money Can't Buy You Love. To think of how much cash the Republicans poured down the drain, and all the people who were panicked that the dollars would buy whatever the monied class desired... looks like it was all in vain for them.

I wish I could rec a thousand more times!

This is truly what this election is about. It is not a horse race. It is not a football game. It's not a profit machine for the media and marketing.

It's about more, even, than just the United States.
