NOTE! THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL ERRORS IN THE POSTING OF THIS THREAD. THERE IS A REVISED THREAD HERE: https://www.democraticunderground.com/100217548438IF YOU VOTED HERE PLEASE RE-VOTE IN THE CORRECTED HREAD.
I WILL DO MY BEST TO MAKE SURE VOTES CAST ARE CREDITED TO THE CORRECT PHOTO BEFORE POSTING FINALS.
California Peggy won the privilege of selecting this month's theme.
The entrant takes a photo of anything they want, with some restrictions!
1) Those are that the photo be taken by cell phone ONLY.
2)AND that the photo has not been post-processed in ANY way.
So, one cell phone photo, right out of the camera! NO EDITING AT ALL.
This is a "level the playing field" contest. The idea is to remove any advantage that professional equipment or editing software may provide. Cell phones do a number of things very well, apply various corrective fixes without user input and in one respect are the best camera, that is, the one you have with you. Some phones offer in camera editing and the idea is to not even use that, as close to 'straight out of the camera' as we can get. Just you and your creative eye.
