Oh, Rs already at work to muddy waters on who wants to "cut" Medicare

Here in Tampa, Fl. Just saw a tv commercial on NBC affiliate with bowling seniors talking about Medicare Advantage being cut. The call-to-action was to contact the White House to tell them not to cut it.

WTF?!

Is this to confuse people into thinking Biden wants to cut so seniors don’t trust anyone on this? And we alllllllll know who not to trust on this.

If the Rs have House, Sente and President, they will cut no matter WHAT they say or promise. Mark my words.

White House Tightens Rules on Misleading Medicare Advantage Advertisements
Dec. 15, 2022 --

The federal government is cracking down on misleading ads for Medicare Advantage plans that prey on older Americans.

On Wednesday, the Biden administration proposed a ban on ads that use confusing words, images, or logos to sell Medicare advantage plans that sometimes don’t cover a person’s doctors or prescriptions.

The regulation would also require that ads cite a health insurance plan by name.

The Associated Press called it “an aggressive step to tackle a growing problem in the Medicare Advantage marketplace, a booming business that offers privately run versions of the government’s Medicare program for people who are 65 and older or have disabilities.”

The Florida ad is misleading at best as well is the way "Medicare Advantage" pretends to be Medicare.

The scare tactics could be an attempt to spook the herd. Based on the steady barrage of advertising I see for MA plans, I suspect there’s a plot to increase demand, destroy traditional Medicare, and replace it with these (mostly) for-profit plans. Eventually, enough seniors will have been duped into signing up for MA plans, and traditional Medicare will be hollowed out to a shell of its former self—small enough to drown in a bathtub. Then we’ll be at the mercy of the insurance companies once and for all.

They’re scrambling to get out from under being exposed.

We must work locally to counter that or what you say is correct:
