They primary Bacon at their own peril. Get crazy and the R's lose that district. Thus Bacon's grasp on reality. Going to see a whole lot more of that in +5 R and tighter districts. This shit, along with a host of other things, may just cost the R's the House and Senate even if NY isn't allowed to redistrict.

Sun Jun 11, 2023, 01:55 PM
Jun 2023

And it wasn't close: 52.3 percent to 45.7 percent for Trump and 2.0 percent for the Libertarian candidate, Jo Jorgenson.

And that gave Biden an electoral vote because Nebraska splits its electoral votes by district.

Omaha, a moderately liberal city, comprises much of District 2.

Lincoln is a liberal city of 340,000 in District 1, but the rest of the district is nearly 95 percent GOP, so even though Lincoln is governed by Democrats, primarily, the rest of the district makes it non-competitive.

District 3 is dominated by Republicans skews the rest of the state's voting to the right.

He took them from Washington DC, within the space of - what - maybe a week?

He willfully retained them at Mar-a-Lago for months. More than a year.

There were almost certainly others he retained elsewhere, but the boxes - the great volume - were at Mar-a-Lago.

That's why the case must be tried in the South Florida District, and not elsewhere.

It's not just how he stored them. It's the fact that he had the most secret information our country possesses, and was letting thousands of people at Mar a Lago just look at them anytime they want.

Bacon's framing makes it seem more like the false equivalence to Biden and Pence, neither of whom showed them to other people nor did they have nuclear secrets.

Sun Jun 11, 2023, 01:23 PM
Jun 2023

It’s deemed, by the repukes I charge, that he’s more a liability than a benefit. But like any huge machine, political or otherwise, it takes a while for it to slow down to turn around.

With that in mind, while any sane person only causally paying attention can see, that tfg is a massive liability, those repuke sycophants have a hard time seeing the nation before the insane minority right.

But there are always a few “rebels” who “suddenly” come to their senses aka they won’t ge re-elected if they support tfg. Aka political opportunists.

We will see another watershed election come 2024 when the last of the moderate right wing nuts lose. But don’t get me wrong, there will always be the insane right wing fringe. But after 2024, their voices will be seen as the lunitic fringe as more of the right wing turn into “Good Germans”.

The bobos and mtg’s are a dying breed, they won’t completely go away, but, for the most part, everyone will move one and stop playing them any attention.
