(49,457 posts)If not in prison, then this:
1. Can't get calls returned.
2. Hitting balls on his dwindling golf courses by himself. Can't get a foursome or even a single player to join him.
3. Not asked to appear on RW TV and radio.
4. Not enough interest to hold rallies.
5. Will be regarded as a loner, an oddity.
6. Not enough money for the kids to fight over his Will.

(27,667 posts)One of my catchphrases when I was a wise-ass adolescent involved a bag of nickles. I was in the Navy and heard it from a guy who had grown up on the eastern end of Long Island. Its not New England, but close if you take a ferry. Sean MacFarlane is unmistakably from New England, where Family Guy is set. It all got me wondering if bag of nickles is a thing throughout the region.
BTW, my version went like, he looks like he got hit in the face by a bag of nickles going 50 miles an hour. Groin work never occurred to me.

(3,841 posts)I made a pretty penny ahem nickle in my time, Enough that they should have been carried around in a bag instead of weighing my pants down. Or did it have to do with having a bag of nickles for martial reasons?

If only the business coup against FDR had met such a grizzly fate during WWII, a little known segment of it, Prescott Bush, may never have produced 2 presidents.

(703 posts)Being realistic, based on his age, his physical appearance, and his physiological demeanor, I believe anything more than 7 years is a life sentence for him.

(94,064 posts)Imprisoned without them. There could be an MOU with the US Marshal Service or Bureau of Prisons who would take responsibility over his sorry ass.

(2,260 posts)At least, not for long. The mfer would break his conditions of house arrest so fast, theyd throw him in a regular prison pretty fast. You know hell invite media, be on his social media rants, leave, grift, you name it, no matter what conditions his lawyers agree to in his name.

(2,260 posts)It wont take many. But most importantly, years of silence from the media and former sycophants, and living like a regular person who he has mocked and wanted a cruel existence for.

(23,194 posts)It should be a big bag weighing about 100 lbs. Trump will cling to them since he loves money. Then push him off a pier.
Problem solved.

(11,731 posts)Long ago, men were put in stocks in the public square as punishment for a crime so that people could humiliate them. Donating overripe vegetables and fruits to the cause was acceptable. Of course there were no potty breaks and that was by design, as it adds to the humiliation.

My many drones & submersibles with HD cameras and high quality mics to record this historic event in all it's gory!

(23,105 posts)when he dies quietly in his sleep. No, life is not fair, it's just life. But even if these fantasies were to come true, Trump has managed to pull off perhaps the greatest con in the history of the world by getting elected president of the most powerful and richest country in the world has ever known. The sad thing is that it never needed to happen and even more sad is that he accomplished this with the unwitting help of too many of us on the Left who were so confident that Hillary would win that we felt we had permission to vote for third party candidates and pissed away the chance to make the Trump nightmare years nothing more than a bad alternative history novel, like what if the South had won the civil war.
I don't think that anyone was more surprised than Trump himself when he appeared in the middle of the night to claim victory with his family around him and those around him with the "how could this ever have happened?" look on their faces. If only those of us on the Left had learned the lesson that the outcome of a presidential election is binary with the winner either being the Democrat or the Republican. As a voting Democrat of over 50 years I have always voted for the candidate of the Democratic Party or the Liberal in a non-partisan race. Win or lose, it's a simple concept and philosophy.
Now, let the fantasies continue.

(14,374 posts)The punishment should fit the crime. He has not been found guilty yet so I find it premature for me to be sharing my opinion on this matter. If he is convicted, then I will weigh in.

(34,189 posts)But I also think he deserves prison - a long enough sentence that he will die in prison - which wouldn't take long.
My husband doesn't think he could be sent to prison since he has Secret Service protection. I say, lock him up in Super Max and in solitary. He'd be very safe then and have all the protection he deserves.
