Brother - his involvement in the Jan 6 activities as the highest-ranking Military person (who didn't do squat to protect the Capitol area) needs to be either ruled out or confirmed...
Has anybody come across any info on his whereabouts and doings that day?

Flynn have never been charged with a crime related to his military service.
And I'll observe that "endless wars" are a matter of civilian policy, not military.

(8,550 posts)the public's view that not supporting war (Vietnam, Iraq, Afghan) is unpatriotic perpetuates them.
I definately "support the troops" and the VA system but not because I consider active duty military and veterans "heroes" but because they rather "victims" and deserve lifetime support because of it. They exploit young people as early as HS and it is wrong. Of course, I guess we have to have someone to fight these dumbass wars. If they had to use 30+ people to fight their wars there would be a lot more pushback or more than likely mercenary armies.
There are no "winners" in war...
The war will end.
The leaders will shake hands.
The old woman will keep waiting for her martyred son.
That girl will wait for her beloved husband.
And those children will wait for their heroic father.
I don't know who sold our homeland.
But I saw who paid the price.

(731 posts)Military - I said she called for help from the Pentagon or some other local entity/office BEFORE calling the Maryland Governor!
I thought that local military entity/office was under the control of Gen Charles Flynn that day...
Mike Flynn's brother seems to have a lot of defenders...

(96,882 posts)The authority to issue orders to the military rests with the President or, at a minimum, the SecDef.
