be relevant. I normally get my social security deposited on the last Wednesday of the month. I was surprised to see it deposited today. So my thoughts are
I am losing my brain cells and I may think it's Monday, but it is actually Wednesday or
someone has hacked social security and goofed and instead of taking my money, actually gave it too me early or
The SSA is getting ready for the government shutdown.

1. SS is funded by its trust fund.

You will not be missing any payments.

2. Expecting mine on Wednesday, didn't get it yet

It’s possible they wanted to get started on it, just in case

3. Mine shows up a few days early with a pending date for the actual day of deposit.

Doesn't happen often but I've gotten it early a few times.

I can usually see the SS check sitting in my checking account anytime after 12:01 am of that date.

Of the month. If there’s a shutdown I’m going to be sol.
