(12,205 posts)I am I don't know. One thing about our system is it is set to be able to file things to slow it down if you want to.
The divorce from my first husband took almost 2 years because he was able to file and delay things, we had almost nothing but the house and furniture, clothes. He was angry I got full custody but he started taking cocaine behind my back and acting crazy, refused to quit or go for help and this was already his second chance.
That was many years ago, I have been remarried 23 years and my ex has been straight for at least 20. We are semi friends now. My husband doesn't understand but I don't believe bitterness best to let go.
