I'm pretty sure Shapiro is making thinly veiled references to the Christian right movement in PA. Now I REALLY want him for VP.

The state is one of the epicenters of the Christian nationalist, and host to a bunch of "prophets" who believe it is specially chosen by God to usher in his kingdom.
