Okay, I'll say it. After the speech that Kamala is giving right now

No one is going to challenge her from our side. I predict a united front against cheato from everyone now. Even the Machin types.

It is so good. I have to say, I am so glad she is wasting no time showing her chops
to everyone and getting everyone psyched.

She's my homie, so it's not surprise to me. But I am so proud.

And bless Joe but he doesn’t have the ability to pause and emphasize and modulate, the way a well trained speaker will do to keep the attention of the audience. Kamala has that knack.

It will take more than good speeches, because they will do whatever they can to derail her and the voters. I hope we will be sufficiently armed.

and former resident, currently in the PNW. I was living in the Bay Area '05 to '12 when Harris was DA and coordinated/ attended many meetings between her and my boss. Also coordinated others with former Mayor Newsom, former Mayor Willie Brown... it was a small world and my boss had a lot of connections. I couldn't be more thrilled to see Kamala where she is now, on the precipice of becoming our first female President! I easily see Newsom becoming President somewhere down the line. I've thought so since back in those days.
Cheers to Kamala Harris!

To see a presidential candidate with a beautiful smile, and can laugh out loud from the gut. Instead of the red faced hate, rage and lies and calls for killing opposition.
We need a whole lot of happiness and positivity in this country.
The hate, civil war threats, killing and non stop treats of violence are getting real sickening.
Kamala is the drug we need to heal!!!

I don't know why Biden was so ineffective at that. It was beyond frustrating. There was a mountain of material there -- conman, criminal, convict, coup d'etat architect, tax evader, treasonous Putin-fluffer, pedophile/Epstein buddy/daughter-fucker wannabe ... the list goes on. I'll never understand why Biden seemed to keep all the powder dry at all times. Thank [nonexistent] god that he stepped down and Kamala stepped up!

He may stroke and do the world a favor.
I have not felt this hopeful in a long time. Not dissing Joe, he is and has been amazing, best in my lifetime.
Joe needs to live a stress free happy life. He has served us so well all these years, while dealing with loss after loss in his personal life. Time to just be the loving caring grandfather, husband and dad.
But the Machine has been brutal at attacking him, and sure seemed to be a winning strategy.
He has earned the respect of a nation, not this Trump Fox evil hate.
All this Harris energy feels so good.

Great to see someone actually punching back against these bullies and jerks. The high road is a great ideal that I wish we could follow, but 8+ years of MAGA's bullying and disregard for rules/decorum, we have to punch back. The whole "MAGA" thing is about strength, nothing more. It's time to meet them on their terms (or their complete lack of terms).

And we should ridicule them for their weakness and hypocrisy when they start crying that they're being treated the way they treat others.

I want to watch it again sometime.

Nicolle Wallace was part of special coverage of the speech and shared anecdotes from her covering Kamala's 2020 campaign as well as more recently. A lot of Kamala's events have happened while her show was on the air.

What struck me was she noted the love Kamala just has as part of who she is, just like Joe Biden has. The panel noted how much she truly loved and how loyal she was to Joe, fighting for him to get to stay the nominee right up until he made the decision and informed her. Often the news media got leaks from other dems or their staff members. Nothing like that at all from the VP.

You can tell in the video the love in the room for one another.

Remarkable.

Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans--born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage--and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world.

In the long history of the world, only a few generations have been granted the role of defending freedom in its hour of maximum danger. I do not shrink from this responsibility--I welcome it. I do not believe that any of us would exchange places with any other people or any other generation. The energy, the faith, the devotion which we bring to this endeavor will light our country and all who serve it--and the glow from that fire can truly light the world.

And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you--ask what you can do for your country.
