Which party won your state in the 2020 presidential election

and by how much?

For purposes of this poll, the EC has been simplified as follows: Maine and Nebraska have each been changed to winner-take-all with 4 and 5 EV respectively, and DC is considered to be a state.

Percentages have been grouped as follows in an attempt to distribute EV as evenly as possible among the categories:

1. Dem win by 0-3% - 6 states, 79 EV
2. Dem win by 4-16% - 8 states, 66 EV
3. Dem win by 17-23% - 6 states, 75 EV
4. Dem win by 24% or more - 6 states, 86 EV

5. Rep win by 0-3% - 2 states, 44 EV
6. Rep win by 4-11% - 4 states, 65 EV
7. Rep win by 12-22% - 9 states, 64 EV
8. Rep win by 23% or more - 10 states, 59 EV

I'm fully aware that it's a new race.. Just curious to see how many we have from tossup states, leaners, and safe red or blue. Certainly not attempting to predict 2024 results based on 2020 results.

for what is likely to happen this time. It also provides benchmarks for us to look at in terms of national polling vs the EC. We know what Biden won by in terms of the popular vote and we know what that translated to in the EC. It is perfectly reasonable to look at both 2016 and 2020 to see what we might get now.

But we're full-time rv-ers and spend very little time there.

I really like the Black Hills area of SD, the rest is just ok.

However, since '64, West Virginia voted for Humphrey in '68, Carter in both '76 and '80, Michael Dukakis in '88, and Clinton in both '92 and '96. So, WV voted Democratic in six of the eight elections from from '68 to '96. I did not know that.

If the Reich Wing can plan for 50 years to overthrow Roe, we can do that. Somehow. No more of this "it's too haaaard" - billions of lives are at stake.

Forget all these byzantine "paths to victory". The EC is a global danger; the Reich Wing, aided by Big Tech, has figured out how to game it in any close election. Half the prezzes in this century have lost the popular vote.

A big turnout and heavy numbers worked in 2020, but that's a one-shot temporary fix to a major systemic problem.

once Texas goes blue.

It will be so over for them otherwise.

But I agree, it sucks to know your vote doesn't directly affect the outcome.
