So something I just noticed watching a clip of the debate...

So I'm hard of hearing. I've been deaf in my left ear for over 25 years, and my hearing in my right ear is at about 50% of what it should be. As a result, I've gotten pretty good at lip reading out of necessity. I was watching a clip of Colbert mocking the orange imbecile, and during the segment when he starts talking about Haitian immigrants eating pets, Kamala says (Just my interpretation, opinions may vary... anyone else who is a more accomplished lip reader please do offer your opinion),

"Oh, come on! Can you believe him?!"

Well, future Madam President, in the literal sense, no, of course not, but in the sense that he is an unhinged lunatic who says crazy nonsensical shit all the time, absolutely.

His face when she says it is just great. This is the guy who tells every woman who questions him to her face that she's nasty and disgusting. But he can't believe Kamala said that. He falters, and his whole face hardens and then he continues what he's saying, insisting on it, and you can tell he is about to blow.

2. That was definitely the best moment of the debate.

I mean, anyone who isn't a full-on Q-Anon crazy heard him say that, then double down and triple down when he was called out on it, and thought, "What in the fuck is he talking about?"

The best part is that he didn't even try to put it into any sort of context, he just threw it out there like it should be self-evident to everyone. I do know that dementia and Alzheimer's patients, as they degrade, lack a theory of mind. Maybe that's what is going on with him, but regardless, he's a dangerous lunatic who should be kept away from sharp objects for his own safety, let alone the office of the Presidency.
