Is there something going on with Laura Loomer and Donald Trump?

I'm going to speculate here, and I hope my post isn't taken down, but the actions of Donald Trump are suspicious to me. There are credible reports that Trump wanted Loomer to be added to the paid staff of his campaign. That was met with strong opposition from his closest advisors. Now, we know that Trump surrounds himself with sycophants, so that dissent was out of character from these people. Trump relented and did not hire her as a paid staffer but has kept her as close as he has any other advisor. Loomer flew on the plane to the debate, yet Melania was nowhere to be found. Don't you think, for political optics, Trump would have his wife by his side for this important event? Instead, this crazy lady was whispering in his ear. The Trump campaign staff didn't just object to Loomer being a paid staff advisor because of the money. They must have been afraid of her influence on Trump.

To add even more conjecture, no staffer, even a Trump staffer, could have thought that putting this 9/11 Truther next to Trump at the memorial for the 9/11 anniversary was a good idea or represented sound political judgement. Again, this was the appropriate place for Melania to accompany her husband.

Knowing Trump's character and the importance to his staff of winning this election, I can only think of one reason for Trump to keep Loomer this close to him, and it's not for her intelligent input to his campaign.

How many times do you find out people are dating and you had suspected it for awhile. Melania hasn’t been seen, Trump seen with his arm around Loomer’s lower back. They are definitely getting it in.

It has been notable for a while that Trump’s wife, Melania, is nowhere to be seen, and Trump has begun to cling to provocateur Laura Loomer, who has vowed utter loyalty to Trump and is evidently quite happy to be seen with him. This is a problem for the Republican Party because of her history of conspiracy theories and open racism. As Joe Perticone and Marc Caputo of The Bulwark note, Loomer has referred to Vice President Harris as a “drug using prostitute,” for example, and suggested she has not given birth to children because “she’s had so many abortions that she damaged her uterus.”

Two of those trying to get Trump to isolate Loomer are Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA). Their chilliness prompted Loomer to fight back on social media, questioning Graham’s sexual identity and calling attention to Greene’s extramarital affair and comparing her to a “hooker.”

The public fight between Loomer and Trump’s more restrained supporters—and who would have thought Greene would fall in the “more restrained” category?—illustrates something Josh Marshall pointed out in Talking Points Memo today.

Marshall noted that the Republicans are essentially running two campaigns for president in 2024. One is run by Trump himself, and it is based on Trump’s personal grievances and stories from his rallies that have little relationship to reality. In 2016, Trump blew up the American political scene with his idiosyncrasies, and his unique style led him to the White House. But 2024 is a different moment. The campaign is faltering as Trump appears increasingly unhinged, afraid to be on a stage with Harris, and seemingly unable to distinguish fact from fiction.

tRump is senile and easily manipulated so I'm not surprised that she has taken over his life. Lindsey's comments make me think there probably is something sexual going on - especially when you factor in her clap back. Lol. 🙄

Do we know if she is being paid by russia? This is the main problem with trump. At the end of the day, he is a huge security risk. There's no telling how many people have died or been compromised because of him.
