Not counting the kids on stage. And probably at least half of those attending were parents of the kids on stage, and they wouldn’t have been there otherwise.
So perhaps it’s safer to say that there were fives of people there to see JV Dunce

I also close enough to Grand Rapids that there should've been more MAGAts than that, although the city has been trending blue. This makes me hopeful. And it's hilarious.

Reaching out to small communities in Michigan that are already overwhelmingly pro Trump seems a bit of a waste of campaign money. Did Trump get a cut of the pole barn rental?

Thing is, Vance is horrible at even staged beforehand small town business/diner visits, this is pretty much expected. A bit surprised they couldn't pay some people from nearby cities or even Grand Rapids to show up to pretend support.

That’s one trick. When you realize you’re only getting a few hundred people for your rally, just move the rally’s location accordingly. It may be a smaller event, but you can make it LOOK like a big crowd.

OR... is it more true that conservatives in general, and MAGA in particular, are simply WAY over-represented, over-polled, and overly fawned over in this country's media and electoral politics?
