tonight (his actual birthday is two weeks from now but they are celebrating tonight).
Happiest of Birthdays to you President and Citizen Carter (he says he was President for 4 years, Governor of Georgia for 4 years but has been a citizen for 92 years - so humble)

his vote will count if he passes before Election Day.

Jimmy Carter is what an authentic man of faith looks like. Much like President Joe Biden.

(22,974 posts)Jimmy Carter was my very first presidential vote when I was and was where I learned to vote for the Democratic candidate every time, a concept that too many Democrats have not grasped.

(213 posts)Citizen for 96. But at 99, he might be allowed a bit of grace with the numbers ☺️

(3,695 posts)Some significant dates are ahead as we close into the election:
Dates
Early Voting: Oct. 15
Voting Registration Deadline: Oct. 7
Request absentee ballot: Oct. 25
Election Day for General Election: Nov. 5
Am also hoping dear Jimmy Carter makes it to vote. Seems likely that would make him rest easy after so much hard work.

(2,661 posts)Jimmy Carter was the first president I ever voted for, and I was so proud to do so; it was for his re-election. Y'all know what happened. Fourty-four years later, I'm still pissed he lost.

(9,606 posts)he is another Mother Teresa........He is an incredible, once in a life time, person..........
AND, let no one forget that it was this same Republican CABAL that committed treason to undermine him winning the election in 1980, no differently than they did in 2000, 2004, 2016.............
