Portage Co, OH is fighting back!

Received from a friend

An Ohio sheriff used his public Facebook accounts to attack Vice President Kamala Harris, urging residents to write down the addresses of her supporters. The reaction from his constituents was quick.

Portage County Commissioner Tony Badalamenti resigned from the county’s Republican Central Committee following Zuchowski’s post. He said in a video he cannot support the ”lying, mistrust and bullying and misleading (of) people” in the Republican Party in Portage County. “This is not the leadership I want to be part of, this is not the leadership that I would follow, and I would encourage others to not follow the same,” Badalamenti said. “To me, the damage to which this group of folks have done to the Republican Party is heartbreaking.”

Denise Smith, the county’s Democratic Party chair said that over 750 Harris/Walz yard signs were requested and delivered in three days after Sheriff Zuchowski posted his comments which could be considered voter intimidation.

one of the tactics of intimidation that was used was to have "goons" go to where Dems were holding meetings, candidate meetings etc. and have them with cameras in the parking lot. They would wait until people started coming out from the meeting and then they would start taking pictures of license plates. The strategy was to make sure people saw you taking the pictures so that you got the idea that they were going to track down where you lived by running your plate through DMV.

what they don’t seem to understand is how stupid they all have become.

It will cost them everything, because there are more truly good people in this country than bad ones.

I believe that November will show their lack of support.

Even if I thought that was true, it doesn't matter.

In the past 32 years, the Retrumplicans have won the popular vote for president once...ONCE!!!!

I hope you are right, but I don't see any evidence to support the claim about "good being more numerous than evil." I guess we'll test that theory this November.

Yet I have to remain hopeful.

I live in a very red rural area and know most of the people in my county and regional area. Gone are most of the MAGA altars … there are 80% fewer displays for TFG … people no longer avoid eye contact with me (I am a known liberal 🤣 ). I have almost daily conversations with people who are getting parts of their brains back … not fully, but part).

I was part of those who asked people to sign the ballot petition for women’s health care rights and many of those who signed vote republican.

The wave is coming …

May the good folks win and the sheriff has his reputation rightfully ruined.

Sheriff is an elected position and Sheriff Zuchowski is up for re-election. Please support his opponent Jon Barber.

with an opposing candidate's name on it or having our American flag ripped away from our home because you "disagree" with our choice of the right person for the job. Thankfully tech and my security cameras have helped us. Even the RW police in my town have to take their buddies (just having fun...no harm meant) in at least for questioning.

...but I'm down on a list to get one as soon as more come in, to go along side my Harris and Brown signs.
