Not Done Yet!
Despite the Army declaring the “case closed,” a police investigation is underway into the Arlington National Cemetery fracas involving a cemetery staffer and two Trump campaign staffers, ABC News reports.

The police department at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, where the cemetery staffer filed a report, is apparently conducting its own investigation that is technically outside of the Army chain of command.

Among the things we learned from ABC News:

-An investigator with the base’s police department has sought in recent days to contact Trump campaign officials about the incident in order to interview the campaign staffers involved.
-Attorney Stanley Woodward is representing the Trump campaign staffers.
-The base’s police department is administered by the Army but is staffed by federal law enforcement officers, not military police.
-In a related development, the Army declined to release documents pertaining to the incident because “those documents are part of an open investigation,” ABC News said.

I thought the army dumping this was just plain cowardice. If we don’t believe in and stand up for laws/rules what’s the point of having them?

And we wonder why there is so much trespassing of laws, robbery, etc. Those of low moral standards see others getting away with ignoring the law so they figure why not?

How can any parents endorse these two?

Or expect many of their children to enlist, after soldiers being called suckers and losers?

What happens is you get attitudes like post 2. It appears this person has completely given up and has no belief whatsoever that anyone or anything can bring about justice.

A descent into total cynicism. And they are not alone: the post has 3 recs.

It's been more than 3 1/2 years since Trump tried to overthrow the government. You might remember Jan. 6, 2021. How's that case going?

Trump's own lawyers told him he should expect to be arrested on Jan. 7, 2021.

On Sept. 18, 2024, Trump is still waiting for that arrest.

Only in America can you lead a failed coup, live on TV, and remain free to lie, cheat, steal, intimidate, lie, steal, lie and run for president while being a 78-year-old sociopath, malignant narcissist, and traitor.

It ain't cynical. Like it or not, it's the simple, disgusting truth.
