It blew my young mind to the extent that I started diagramming sentences in the newspaper. One more facet of my budding OCD for which I am thankful for overcoming.

On a related note, I’m aware of my tendency to use sentence fragments on this site. I try to strike a conversational tone here, forsaking grammatical purity for dialog one might hear from a family member, friend, or colleague. It’s also practice for composing dialog when I write my magnum opus of a novel.
