The media and fact checking

If one person tells the truth, while the other constantly lies and the media fact-checks those lies, how can people be upset with the media for not fact-checking the truth-teller as much as the liar when there's nothing to fact-check?

1. The media should fact-check both and report that they found

few if any inaccuracies in what Harris-Walz said.

2. They should assume it's a lie if coming from a pub
