Something they've never been able to acknowledge since He went with the "stolen election" lie. As mail-in voting continues to increase as the voters choice, we're certain to see the old playbook of his to confuse, deny and disrupt. If only there was 24/7 news coverage and those darn MAGA's could stay up late.

1. I don't see why mail ins can't have a deadline a week earlier than the election.

I mean they are getting absentees now. I’m certain voters can get the ballots in by October 29th. Wouldn’t that solve everything?

2. Mail does not travel at the same rate

everywhere in the country. Something mailed from Harlem to Midtown Manhattan doesn't take the same amount of time as something mailed from Wasilla to Anchorage Alaska. It also is not consistent. Delivery date cannot be guaranteed. Post mark is the only fair measure of whether a vote was mailed on time.

3. That is up to each state.

There are some states that bar any action on absentee ballots until the polls close. Others allow all but the press of a button that spits out the total. So it is less a matter of when ballots arrive, and more a master of when they are permitted to open them, verify signatures/authenticity, and run them through the ballot traders.
