(1,514 posts)I had a bad sore throat one day (which I killed off with multiple vitamin C and Zinc doses-- that actually works sometimes).
Seeing as it's the first time in four years that I've had anything that seemed viral, I tested for Covid.
It was negative. and I was fairly well the next day.

(16,690 posts)Only after effect is fatigue. I'm just rolling with it.

(7,395 posts)I've had several each year already.
The only real effect was soreness at the injection site (I usually get them in my left arm, being right-handed).
Soreness and any 'fatigue' would last maybe a day. Also, had a slight fever (my temp went up to around 99.5) but then back down to around 98.2 in about a day.
I usually get vaccinated on Friday afternoon, so Friday night and most of the day Saturday, I am 'recuperating' and such. By Sunday, I'm all good to go.

Even though I've been fully vaccinated and boosted against nearly all strains of COVID, it doesn't hurt to get those tests.
