"SNIP.............
From the New York Times editorial board:
This unequivocal, dispiriting truth Donald Trump is not fit to be president should be enough for any voter who cares about the health of our country and the stability of our democracy to deny him re-election.
...........SNIP"

and not prioritizing unions. The GOP led that and Bill Clinton followed with the third way a bit. We did try to fight the NeoCons. Obama got sabotaged most of his administration.
We educated are part of the elite. We could apologize for our part in the last 40 years before Biden. Especially those of us centre left. Take ownership of our side of the street as it were. I'm talking about the MAGA voters who were so traumatized by the economy that they stopped thinking with reason and went with passion and a leader who would 1) mind meld with them through the TV via his orange glow till they vibrated together and 2) trick them to get them to scapegoat their pain onto others, immigrants and Muslims and women, as humans do unfortunately. Some of these people voted for Obama. For sure it was all the GOP's show. But let's not wait for them to apologize for their scams. Let's put it out there that we didn't oppose the GOP scam hard enough. And not expect anything in return. And then move on. It will not affect the extremist Christians, the fascists, the proud boys, the incels, the opportunistic billionaires, the misogynists, or leadership of MAGA. But we may get some workers back or at least make them less exploitable by the MAGA in the next month.

But, they did spend most of the column criticizing her.
It very much gives a "Oh, if we have to..." vibe.
