We would be f@*cked here if the state were solely in control of Emergency Responses. NO STATE can possibly plan for the devastation and reclamation effort needed here in Western North Carolina.

People can SEE on their TV every day how badly FEMA is needed - RIGHT NOW - IN OCTOBER.

I cannot believe there are no ads running tying TFG to gutting FEMA.

I think there is one of two possibilities.
One - it isn't close and we will win big time - polling and the news media cannot accurately figure out what's really going on.
Two - Society is weirding out so much it no longer is capable of understanding reality in which case societal collapse is inevitable. I don't think we have more than 40 years in this case.
In a way I think this battle is between good and evil. I hope we win.
