Bruce Springsteen Calls Trump ‘Dangerous’ In Video Endorsing Harris

Legendary rockstar Bruce Springsteen is making his political position known and throwing his support behind Kamala Harris in a new Instagram video. In the video message posted to his account Thursday, the “Born to Run” singer addresses his followers in a flannel shirt while sitting at a diner counter. “I’m supporting Kamala Harris for president and Tim Walz for vice president and opposing Donald Trump and J.D. Vance,” Springstreen says at the start of the video. “Perhaps not since the Civil War has this great country felt as politically, spiritually and emotionally divided as it does at this moment. It doesn’t have to be this way,” he adds. He goes on to praise the good things America stands for and underscores his Harris support by calling Trump “the most dangerous candidate for president in my lifetime.” According to the singer, Trump “doesn’t understand the meaning of this country, its history of what it means to be deeply American.” He likes Harris and Walz’s plan for the country and says it’s the America he’s “been consistently writing about for 55 years.”

Trump, if elected god forbid, will destroy freedom. Why? Because he hates people who tell the truth about him. Because he doesn’t want to go to jail. He has no concern for governing. He wants to punish his enemies and give the bank to the rich. And give NATO to his boss Putin. Most Republicans and magas should be ashamed. But being ashamed requires one to have integrity.

Hopefully This time next year republicans will be scratching their heads unable to remember who their candidate was in 2024.

4. I will NEVER understand

Republicans/Conservatives who are huge Springsteen fans. I guess it can be attributed to people reading their own experiences to the songs, but are they even paying attention to the lyrics or the subject matter?
I mean, Ronald Reagan actually thought Born in the USA was "Patriotic" in his view. The song is about a Vietnam Vet who comes home to a USA that almost doesnt want him. It's a really sad song, not an anthem.
Bruce will always write and sing about everyday people. He actually was one.
