My vote for Harris/Walz and the entire Democratic slate is now in the mail

Plus my "Yes" votes for the marijuana and abortion questions (Florida)

And I will check online in several days to see that my ballot has been received

I kinda panicked a few days ago when it appeared my return envelope appeared to be already sealed, but on closer inspection it was only sealed in a few spots and I carefully managed to seperate it and it ended up sealing nicely

In Omaha, NE. All blue (and one vote for Independent Dan Osborne for Senate) and several ballot questions: make abortion legal, make medical pot legal, paid family/medical leave, and revoke funding for charter schools 🔵💙

6. Why would anyone put their absentee ballot in the mail if they could drop it off in person?

That ballot gets handled more giving it more chances to get lost just like regular mail.

My sister is a mail in person. Actually she gets her mail in ballot and drops it off at an early voting drop box near her. She loves that she can ensure her vote is counted! I am an early voting person, I like going there, seeing other people doing their civic responsibility, filling out the ballot, scanning it and getting an I voted sticker. It's just a tradition I enjoy so want to keep doing it as long as I'm mobile and able to drive.

There's not a lot to love about my state lately, I have to look for the silver linings.

..... normally I take the time to fill out every line on the partisan portion of the ballot, but yesterday I just marked straight ticket Democratic Party.
