Disturbing story about my daughter's friend who went from a Trump hater to a Trump supporter

The friend is a 21 year old white girl

The key factor seemed to be that she got involved with a guy who is a massive Trump fan, has a picture of Trump on his bedroom wall

This girl says she's watched a lot of pro-Trump TikTok and now she likes him.

She found his arguments on immigration compelling, now supports building the wall. Is worried about inflation too.

Her BF told her Trump will never sign a national abortion ban. Although this is kind of moot since we live in Indiana with a strict abortion ban now.

Maybe the worst part was she was using very denigrating language about Kamala.

My daughter and her other friend argued with her and got her to say she would vote for Kamala, although who knows if she will stick to this. Also apparently the girl's grandmother offered to pay her college tuition is she voted for Kamala!

I know this girl is young and she's sort of dippy, but I'm just so disturbed anyone can shift like this. But that's the way propaganda works...

We're likely never going back to pre-2021 prices again. It's like when everyone posts photos of how much a burger cost in the 70s. Yeah, you're never going to get a burger consistently for 75 cents again.

Inflation has cooled but the massive surge in prices between 2021 and 2023 are still being felt today.

And that's why people still perceive Inflation is high today, even if it's not - because of the increase in prices over the last four years.

We're now at a healthy Inflation rate (around 2%, which it's typically where a healthy economy will be).

But in 2021, the average inflation was 4.7%.

In 2022, it was 8%.

In 2023, it was 4.1%.

So, from 2021 to 2023, prices rose by nearly 17% (based on the yearly average).

With a healthy Inflation, prices would have rose only 6% comparatively (2+2+2).

And that's been what has frustrated a lot of voters. None of them seem to care about WHY inflation spiked like it did. Just that it did. And they want pre-2021 prices.

But even as inflation cools, beyond deflation (which would not be good and a sign of a recession), they're not going to get it. So, they're still trying to accept that everything is generally way more expensive than it was four years ago.

Not the real man. Unfortunately the real man gets all the votes. Propaganda works. Then again it is targeted at people that usually have a positive view already to be exploited. Members of a cult worship the leader and echo the leader’s words and actions. Repetition is key.

A professional hypnotist tried to warn us. Coupled with NBC and the rest of corporate mass media, even Dimdonnie Dipwad could do it:

Hypnotist Richard Barker Shows How Trumpnosis, Donald Trump's Form of Covert Hypnosis, Affects Millions Around the World

NEWS PROVIDED BY
Richard Barker, Incredible Hypnotist
Mar 29, 2016, 08:35 ET

ORLANDO, Fla., March 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Hypnotist Richard Barker has just released research surrounding mass hypnosis and has coined the phrase "Trumpnosis".

Trumpnosis.com has been receiving lots of interest as of late. Covert hypnosis means having access to people's subconscious mind and altering the way they behave and think in a disguised or somewhat hidden way. Some popular covert hypnosis techniques used to align someone's behavior and thoughts to the desired outcome of the hypnotists are displayed during mass hypnosis.

Barker typically refers to mass hypnosis as "Trumpnosis", since he states, "Mr. Trump displays it so well". The media have also made comments regarding the Hypnotizing of a nation and questioned what is happening to America. Through the words and actions of an individual, can we influence and suggest a nation to think a certain way? Richard Barker who is known as the 'Incredible Hypnotist' thinks so. Barker said, "Everything we do and see must first start with a thought process. We don't see the world; we think it. If your thoughts are influenced by a master Hypnotist to think in a certain way on a mass level, this is 'Trumpnosis'".

Mass Hypnotism can apply to everything and be everywhere – in families, in schools and in politics. The influence and use of repetition on crowds is identified through Mr. Trump's speeches and is seen to influence even the most enlightened minds. The power is due to the fact that the repeated statements are embedded in those profound regions of our subconscious mind.

Donald Trump successfully uses techniques such as pacing and leading, anchoring, verbal confusion, repetition and so on. He successfully bypasses the critical factor in minds of some people and has the ability to turn off the rational thinking. By using certain words and behavior, a speaker can very quickly establish a rapport with an audience. Repeated exposure to the same speaker can result in them being viewed with admiration, bordering on worship. Every word uttered is accepted as the complete truth.

“ Through the words he has used, both now and in the past, he has placed others into a hypnotic state without them knowing," says Barker. "Trump's speeches contains hypnosis techniques of hypnotic anchoring, pacing and leading, critical factor bypass and so on."

Hypnotist Richard Barker insists, "All you need to remember is that most people's needs are based on their instincts. Understanding people's instincts, especially in a mass gathering, is one of the key goals of mass hypnosis. Trumpnosis is a vehicle for enabling large groups of people to have an altered belief system."

Richard Barker is a World Renowned Professional Hypnotist. He has spent the last 20 years working with thousands of clients across the world. Richard Barker has recently appeared on NBC's The Today Show, CBS' The Late Late Show with James Corden, FOX's Good Day LA and News channels for FOX and ABC http://incrediblehypnotist.com

He has written a new book focusing on Persuasion and Suggestion titled, "Selling Hypnotically. The Art Of Suggestion" http://sellinghypnotically.com

I had posters of Andy Gibb on my bedroom wall but I was a teenage girl. What grown man is having a poster of *rump?

Is he kissing it goodnight every night and whispering sweet nothings? Or lighting candles around it and chanting devotions?

That's definitely disturbing but so is this:

"My daughter and her other friend argued with her and got her to say she would vote for Kamala, although who knows if she will stick to this. Also apparently the girl's grandmother offered to pay her college tuition is she voted for Kamala!"

That is so wrong. If this weirdo boyfriend is bullying her, so are her "friends," and her grandmother is bribing her?

Sounds like some reality show feeding on drama.

If she votes at all, it may be to the candidate of whomever of her boyfriend, her friends, her grandmother speaks to her last. Alternatively, the fact that she watched pro Trump videos specifically on immigration, suggest she is ok with the glaring white nationalism and has internalized it. This even though she has relatives and friends who seem to reject this. ( If she spoke of videos that spoke of the utopia of the previous Trump years, it would be less damning.)

millions and millions of people in this country will be voting based on what they feel, a whim, what a friend said, their boss said, parents said, spouse said, a ad they saw, etc.

It's very scary and not much we can do about it except get the word out on our side because many will vote our side for the same reason.

Just my opinion but I blame it on the boyfriend. She possibly doesn't have a strong sense of self.

Maybe it's because my parents were civil rights activists and progressives but even at 21 a Trump supporter would be a deal breaker for me. All of my siblings and our nephews are progressives as well.

I hope she does end up voting for Kamala. A young white male trump supporter is a huge red flag. I wonder what his thoughts are on Andrew Tate.....

She was being anti Trump in the first place to fit in with the crowd then she was pro Trump becsuse of her boyfriend but then says she will vote for Harris when she is with pro Harris friends.

In reality she just has little to no interest in politics and more focused on her social life and wanting to be popular.

Formerly not politically involved, she got a new boyfriend who was in the DKP, the (west) German Communist Party. She came to work spouting all the latest BS propaganda her boyfriend’s socialist gurus in East Berlin were sending over. When my wife used to call her on some of her more absurd assertions, which she recited verbatim, but couldn’t explain, her comment was, “da müsstest du den Jürgen fragen.” On that, you’d have to ask Jürgen,” her boyfriend. She could spout the propaganda just fine, but when asked to explain any of it, she was clueless.
