Ben LaBolt: the most jobs created in 4 years of any administration

16 million jobs now created under President Biden and VP Harris, the most in 4 years of any administration. Jobs up, wages up, unemployment low, inflation continues to head down.

This is a great September jobs report.
The "soft landing" is still on track

1) 254,000 jobs added --> huge beat of forecasts
2) Unemployment rate down to 4.1%
3) Big jump in employment in both the household and establishment surveys.
4) Job gains across many sectors (the "diffusion index" rose a lot)
5) Strong wage gains +4% that are way above inflation

Real wages are higher today than before covid, this takes into account inflation.

Last 4 GOP Presidents (Trump, Bushes, Reagan): +16.792 million jobs
Biden: +16.189 million jobs

Biden did it in 4 years, with a population that had stopped growing. It is truly an amazing economic record.
