Trump's strategy has always been to divide and conquer.

Like most authoritarians, he has been very good at it. He has relied on name-calling, ridicule, and outright lies to divide this nation.

But the way to defeat division is by addition.

That was what Kamala Harris was attempting to do by standing on the stage with Liz Cheney last night. If she can add just a few Republicans and "undecideds" to her totals, she can defeat the division of Donald Trump.

He understands that, I am sure.

His house of cards is beginning to wobble.

The more desperate tRump will become. The threats against them will pile up because they finally see the reality of tRump's madness. Attack his character or lack of it.

I may disagree a lot with Liz Cheney's politics, but I do respect her for her dedication to the Rule of Law, standing up for the US Constitution, the Democratic ideals of America, etc. I understand what Kamala Harris is doing here by goading the tRump campaign to stand up for America rather than tearing it down.

For all tRump knows how to do is tear down all that is GOOD about this country. Kamala and those Repiblicans coming forth are showing those differences quite starkly.

That is what Republicans need to understand.

Because the "other" issues are meaningless if we lose our Constitution and our democracy.

We must fight to maintain a system of government where we can debate our differences and let the voters decide, not turn over our government to a dictator.
