Ari Melba Toast has no fewer than four (4) "Hmmmm"'s

during the first half of the program.

See, he’s got this maddening (to me at least) thing he does: a guest will elucidate his or her opinion in reasonable detail and depth and when finished Ari will sit there expressionless for two seconds and go “Hmm”. Wait. Wait. Wait. And then he will ask a completely unrelated question and it makes me wonder if he were even listening.

Waiting for the Friday Rapper or Hip Hop guest who just may be paired with a Princeton astrophysicist.

I’ll tell you why: the vast number of times Ari is busy fellating the rapper and asks the scientist/author/statesperson a throwaway question at the end. It’s stupid.

in the first block, speaking very slowly and making very few points. It's like he's in love with his own voice, with smiling at odd moments. I always fast forward through all that if I watch, which isn't often.

The NFC east once again, with America’s team only a game behind.

That time slot is pretty much a dead zone and Ari fits into that with his “interesting” takes on things. I actually enjoy when Peter Navarro is on because good belly laughs are supposed to be good for me! And trust me, I can’t stop laughing at Navarro’s buffoonery!
