...that he's a VICIOUS, MALICIOUS, PERNICIOUS, Thin-skinned BULLY. A petulant five year old in an eighty year old body. EVERYONE recognizes the personality traits of a bully. And if this bully returns to the White House, he'll be TEN TIMES WORSE than he was the first time.

(25,839 posts)Political strongman partially defined:
Political scientists Brian Lai and Dan Slater identified strongmen as ruling in an autocratic way which exercises power through the military; typically, strongmen do not share power collectively and do not rely on a political party to exert power.[4] Strongmen are more likely to initiate international conflicts than democracies, military juntas, and partisan dictatorships.[5][6] Additionally, political scientists Barbara Geddes, Erica Frantz, and Joseph G. Wright argue that dictatorships led by strongmen are more likely to "commit human rights abuses" and "become embroiled in civil wars" then other dictatorships. They also stated that strongmen are more likely to be overthrown by an insurgency, revolution, or foreign invasion than civilian dictators and military juntas.[7]...
This is for the undecided voters. Is this what you want?
Commentary:
Please note that the word use of "then" in the paragraph is incorrect. It should be "than" instead. Someone tell the Wikipedia for me, please. TY. ❤️

(2,494 posts)Many of those clips were from the time of the pandemic; in several, the victims of the pandemic are specifically mentioned. We all remember the refrigerated trucks that stored the bodies when the morgues were overflowing; how Trump ignored intelligence briefings about the plague's lethality and then openly lied about it; how Trump tried to force everyone back to work while a deadly contagion raged outside...God, it just all runs together like mud after a while.
How Trump's fans think this is acceptable statesmanlike behavior is beyond me--especially when so many of them ended up as victims of Covid themselves.

(3,804 posts)I wrote of it (elsewhere) numerous times and as it happened, including how his administration confiscated vital ppe supplies headed to various states in urgent need, how he accused first responders of hoarding supplies, and how he hinted at showing favour to certain states, in providing relief, based upon the "loyalty" of each state's politicians.
Exactly the same kind of shit he recently threatened to do in response to California's wildfires.
Frankly, I don't know how much lower one can get.

(13,277 posts)But I cant stand to watch him anymore.
Show me Walz
he is real and heartfelt and funny and smart, all at the same time.
Show me Joe
he is shuffling with a broken foot and frustrated with having to juggle twenty plates on twirling sticks 24/7 (as the media piles on to make his job more difficult).
Show me Kamala who somehow makes me feel that it will really all be worth it.

(5,499 posts)Not that he had that many people like that in his first go-round, but it will be much worse if he gets the chance again.
