My son and I are sending Postcards To Swing States. They are also handwritten. Between the two of us we wrote 400 of them. They get mailed later this month. There's another DUer that is sending something like 800 postcards for the same organization and has been sending them for different elections since 2020! Thank you to everyone for all you are doing!!

I've been writing them since around 2020.

Oddly enough, I received one this week. Odd, because they are supposed to target voters who are inconsistent - but vote blue when they do vote. I'm hardly an inconsistent voter. I think I have missed 3 elections since my first vote in 1976 - all primaries or special elections when there was nothing I cared about (or no candidates with opposition).

I found the message the writer chose as creepy as it I found it when I was choosing which message to write. (The message was the one about the record of your voting being public, even though who you vote for is private.)

My son and I did ours a few at a time, but it took awhile. We started with just 200, but finished them quickly enough that we sent off for another 200. I am so impressed that you did 500!! We used the one about needing to remind others to vote. We felt it was a positive message, and the message we would rather receive. I think they had so many people sign up this time that they were targeting other types of voters. We had to wait longer for the 2nd batch to arrive than the first batch. Thank you for writing so many! You rock!

30. Wife and I are doing GOTV postcards. It's wonderful, encouraging work and

after it's over, I'm treating both wife and me to hand massages, (i.e. massages of our hands ... just to clarify) at the local Vietnamese hand and foot massage business in the shopping center down the street. Writers cramps is a real GOTV occupational hazard.

Doesn't work for shit writing them anywhere near a TV, laptop whatever. Do them on the kitchen or other table. I was filling out a card to someone named Rachel. One guess who's last name I wrote. Does white out affect impact? He jests.
