This is a sign that TFG will lose.

Old pattern with the mega wealthy, donate to both sides so that no matter who wins, they will owe him.

You only give to one side when you are certain that person will win or you are a true believer fanatic like Leonard Leo, Peter Thiel, and the Kochs

Hey, good to have his money on our side, but he's just reading the tea leaves and hopes to buy influence with the likely winner.
