On MSNBC Morning Joe. "North Carolina man blames trump for father-in-law refusing FEMA help.

Here is an interaction with Dan Abrams with someone discussing his father-in-law:

"ANTHONY: My father-in-law lives just outside of Asheville, North Carolina, and he was badly damaged by Hurricane Helene. And he has refused all FEMA help because he's a hardcore trumper. He literally believes that if he accepts anything from FEMA, they're going to take his house.

ANTHONY: I don't understand how so many people are under the spell of this freaking con man. I don't understand it.

DAN ABRAMS: It's absolutely heartbreaking about your father-in-law. I'm so sorry to hear it, um you know--

ANTHONY: Dan, it's hard. It's hard to even imagine it. I mean, he lost almost everything, and he's refusing all help from the federal government and complaining to us that he doesn't have food, that he doesn't have the stuff he need, and yet he won't accept the help. What the hell are we supposed to do? We're not in a position to be able to fly across the country and help him. There's people begging us to get him to accept help and he won't do it. And I guarantee you, I'm not the only one. I guarantee you I'm not the only one.

DAN ABRAMS: I wish there was something I could say as to, you know, I don't know. Is there ---does he have access to any electronics where you could send him some information debunking this and that he might --

ANTHONY: We've done all of that. We've done all of that. We've sent him, we've sent him all the FEMA bulletins. We've sent hi all the stuff from the fact checkers. He doesn't believe it. He thinks it's all --- he just believes trump, literally, Dan. He just ---- it's a cult! He's a cult member. I'm sorry to say it. He's a cult member. And he's my father-in-law and it sucks"

He has absolutely no empathy, no compassion, no concern for anyone other than himself.

If confronted with a story like this, he would brush it off and refuse to believe it, then go right back to spewing his lies.

If he had any emotional reaction at all, it would probably be annoyance at being told he was wrong, mixed with a secret sense of satisfaction that he was able to have that kind of influence on someone.

In other words, he is projecting—again. When he says that FEMA wants to take their homes, it's like, where the hell did he come up with THAT?! The answer is that that is exactly what Trump and the rest of his greedy clan want to do: swoop in and take their homes, bulldoze them, and build luxury hotels OR homes to rent at outrageous prices the average person cannot afford.

Very similar to another thread today about Trump wanting to build a luxury hotel in Israel and Jared wanting to build in Gaza.

When you commit yourself to a person or belief and that allegiance is part of your being, it is very hard to admit this belief or person is a fraud. Then you must also admit you were wrong and for some that is a momentous task. It also means you will lose all those wonderful Trumpet friends. Better to suffer and uphold your allegiance to The Great Smelly Orange One.

If the FIL doesn’t want to accept help from the government then that is his choice. His right to life. He is choosing poorly, but this is his decision.

So, listen up pops, quit calling your family for help. You have been offered help and your refusal proves that YOU sir do not care for yourself or your family and your making your family suffer because of your willful ignorance and lack of courage to change your way of thinking. Tell him right now, given his age, location, insurance costs, and anything else the son can think of -
He is already going to lose his home to the bank. It’s a given. Hard stop.

If he takes FEMA help, one of 2 things is going to happen. He loses his home which was going to happen anyway, or he keeps it.

The first scenario allows him to say I told ya so. Unfortunately the 2nd scenario would merit an apology and a thank you which the supporters, like TSF, often cannot/will not say. They’d like to be wrong and suffer rather than admit error.

Still if he has a draining ounce of brain power left he should realize he has nothing to lose. But go ahead and suffer if it makes you (him) happy.

The psychologist that got fired from Yale, Dr. ____ Lee, said that the only way to get these MAGA cult members out from under Trump’s lies is to take away any additional source of repetitive lies… So Trump needs to be confined and prevented from getting any word out to these people.

However, the media (FOX & NEWSMAX) would also need to be muzzled. Not sure how that would be done without just pulling their FCC licenses.

If these lies and Trump worship doesn’t get eliminated (under control), it’ll perpetuate indefinitely.
