That definitely meets the definition of cowardice.

(65,001 posts)I'd give him credit for courage, but he ran away, so I'm afraid it was just another poorly planned stop. His entire campaign staff quit, after all. The GOP pulled all their money from his campaign, and nobody will appear with him.
ProfessorGAC
(71,119 posts)If he didn't actually follow through, how is it courageous?
More likely, stupidity & a lack of organization or planning had him arriving in a place where there would be no warm welcome.
I have a hard time believing this drone & incompetent minions expected a hostile reception. They're very bad at strategic thinking.

But any illusion of that ended when he turned tail and ran at the sight of the handmaids!

(71,119 posts)"Looked corageous" might be it, but I think stupidity of choosing Durham is the simpler & more likely explanation.

imachinations and a lie by the totally Deranged Jack Smith (who suffers from Cantaloupe Caligula Derangement), the Biden crime family, mentally deficient Kuh-mala Harris and the Lamestream Media!!!1!1!1! Caligula has never even met the guy, barely knows this trans-prawn lover.
Took a few tries to get that right. Especially Caligulas penchant of referring to himself in the third person. My brain just rebells at that.
Sounds like hes trying to go for the royal we bit, but fucks it up, just like everything else he touches.

Then, when confronted with logic and the consequences of their own action(s), they slink away, almost mute.
They crawl back under a rock, like an insect....

(6,869 posts)Durham has always been liberal leaning. It has been a number of years since that area was my old haunting grounds but I am betting it has not changed that much.

My late mother taught me one thing about creeps..she told me that 9/10 creeps are cowards who will back down quickly if you confront them.
But there is always the one who doesnt so you have to be extra prepared for the one who doesnt.
She went to work in the seventies and became a fairly senior bank official. Never really liked it because she only went into banking after finding physics too hard at the doctoral level to continue with. Never really took to banking and missed physics all her life.
But she definitely was tough and taught me a thing or two about handling creeps.

He can disparage and ridicule women, he can deny them the right to control their own bodies and he can treat them like they're chattel, but he can't face them when they confront him.
Like most his mentor tRump, at his core he's a scared little boy with no backbone.
