If you came from Mars and watched TV, you'd think Harris was 30 pts behind

Rinse and repeat. This is so reminiscent of 2022. A month before November, we get a flood of polls from right wing outfits that show Republicans winning. The poll aggregators include them to show a tightened race. On cue, the media is talking about Dems are not doing with any group. Harris is not doing well with people who wear Nike shoes. Harris is not doing well with people with curly hair. Her campaign is in trouble...etc., etc.

This same shit happened in 2022 causing them to talk about the incoming red wave incessantly. I feel like the same thing is happening now.

If Harris is in trouble with every conceivable group, why is she even tied or ahead? They never talk about the groups she does well with, only the negative. The media really sucks.

5. I've gone into "poll ignore mode' ever since the VP debate...

I was so buoyed immediately after the VP debate only to have my optimism dashed the next day by snap polls and focus groups. I couldnt believe I had watched the same debate everyone was talking about!

I was just sayinig in another thread that polls will be a roller coaster the remaining weeks. Save for Biden having to leave the race and Harris replacing him, it really has been a fairly ho-hum election. The MSM wants things stirred up, and vascillating polls every couple of days is a great way to do that. All they have to do is change the wording on a question or find a new reason to over sample Repblicans.

I’ve said this elsewhere as well: Dont watch the polls; watch the campaigns. They will both do some things in coming weeks that make no sense to those of us looking from the outside. The reason—they have much better polls than what you and I see. They want their polls to give them the truth, no matter how ugly. In the days after Election Day, expect to read somewhere that some campaign aid admits that all senior campaign team members knew for weeks they were toast.

On J6, Trump had known well before ED that he was going to lose. His internal polls told him as much. Likewise, Hillary Clinton and team knew weeks before November, 2016, were in bad, bad trouble.

Both sides know tonight pretty much know November 5’s outcome. It’s just that one is hoping for for a race-altering event while the other one is praying against it!

6. TV as it exists today is why intelligent space beings feel the need to destroy Earth.

If the Hitchhiker's guide says "Mostly Harmless", it is seriously out of date. It is mostly deranged and "solves" problems by opposition and destruction.
