Why no media frenzy over trump town hall freeze?

The republican party is very white and very male, way more so than the Democratic Party. White men have always received more credit, reverence, and passes than anyone else in America. Republicans get the white man's pass that even white male Democrats don't get.

This is a continued case of media giving trump the white man's pass.

at a town hall just grooving to some tunes instead of answering questions. And it is being covered by the media, at least some of it, or we wouldn't know about it at all. Nicole Wallace has spent most of the first half of her show on it.

Go to 1:10 for lead in to trump clown show. And Bill Maher will be on CNN Saturday and guarantee he'll do his joke about trump dancing like he's jerking off two guys.

Joe Biden got hammered for his debate performance. That was not sanewashing. Nicole Wallace covered trump's inaction in a proper perspective being "this is part of a larger fucking problem." Media can objectively follow suit, but they won't.

trump just gets the white man's pass.

I mean President Biden is a white man and look at how much they went after him for even the slightest lapse while he
was still in the race.

Where as Trump is showing signs he needs to be in a dementia unit at a nursing care facility, and we hear crickets from mainstream media.

The Republicans falsely accused the press of being liberally biased for so long that the media has actually become right wing kiss asses, by trying to go out of their way to show they are not biased for the left.

Republicans get the white man's pass more so than even white male Democrats because of the association. The mere association of the less white, less male party gives people and institutions permission to fuck with white male Democrats in a way they wouldn't fuck with a white male Republicans.

So your comment actually proves my point.

I hope that makes sense.

She put it on and ran the entire 38 minutes in the bottom corner with a counter. When you actually see it, it boggles the mind. He looked like he was waiting for a bus that never came, gazing off and swaying and doing that weird little handjob dance—FOR THIRTY EIGHT MINUTES. Kristi Noem must be breathing into a bag right now. She looked like the caretaker stuck with a very, very crazy patient.

Great word, frenzy, like when Joe Biden had a lackluster debate performance in June. It was followed by a FRENZY that was fed by the FRENZY over his age.

A convicted felon and rapist stands on stage moving to music for over a half hour at what's supposed to be a town hall. It feeds into the notion that he's unfit. There's coverage. But there's no FRENZY.

...now and then, never EVER does it result in anything CLOSE the the weeks-long wall-to-wall coverage of Biden's fitness that followed his debate performance.

Yet what Trump is doing far more worthy of that kind of hand-wringing concern.

trump gets mere coverage for significantly questionable behavior. It's definitely not leading news anywhere I see.
