https://thecycle.substack.com/p/what-really-happens-if-trump-wins'Like Hitler, Trump Has Made Clear His Plan is Dictatorship, Not Democracy
Rachel "The Doc" Bitecofer '
'January 30th 1933 dawned cold and clear in Berlin as Adolph Hitler took his oath of office and promised Germans he would uphold the constitution. It would ultimately take him less than 30 days to dismantle it.
By March, Dachau concentration camp was opened with its inaugural prisoners: members of the Communist and Social Democrat parties and other prominent Hitler critics. including some members of the Reichstag which Hitlers allies would join with the National Socialists to voluntarily dissolve to give Hitler near total power...
for average Germans the day that started with Hitlers swearing in ended the same way as the day before it and after it. Jobs were worked, errands were run, dinners were cooked, people went to the movies, and life carried on with little interruption.
Within the year, regular Germans would be begin to curtail public criticism of Hitler and his Nazis, eventually codifying it with the Law against Malicious Attacks on State and Party in December 1933...At first they would do so in social settings. Later, they would do so in their own homes for fear that their own children, eventually conscripted into either the Hitler Youth or the League for German Girls, might denounce them...
All you need to end a democracy is a leader willing to suspend or end the Constitution and a supporting cast large enough to allow him to do it. Republicans have both.'
My words: Please read the entire article and then VOTE. We're gonna win this, people, but make no mistake, we're also dogging a bullet.

HOW someone who refused to concede a legitimate election and THEN TRIED TO OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENT is allowed to run again - that is just INSANE, HE DOESN'T BELIEVE IN AMERICA.

Would have thought his ass would have been done with when he lost 2020. Or at least bailed out and ran out of the country. He is such a disgusting human being along with his supporters.
I swear how did we get to this point? Still boggles my mind.

(123 posts)3. As I've recently discovered, the DU editor has tags to make clear which part(s) of one's posts are outside content
It's the excerpt tag, and it looks like Double Quotes on the toolbar just above the box where you type. I highlighted this text section and clicked the Double Quotes to put excerpt tags around it.
And then what you don't excerpt I assume most will recognize as being your own words And also I agree with the post!
