It's not easy to explain how old DMV information may not match a person's current citizenship status, and how that shouldn't be the reason for purging the rolls so close to an election, and how a person may have legally become a citizen since that data was collected.
But, it's sure easy to use terms like "non-citizen" with words like "allow" to "vote" . Watch this get spun into all kinds of bullsh-t .

Virginia must restore more than 1,600 people to the voter rolls after a federal judge ruled on Friday that the state had illegally removed them.
The US district judge Patricia Giles granted an injunction request brought against Virginia election officials by the justice department, which claimed the voter registrations were wrongly canceled during a 90-day quiet period ahead of the November election that restricts states from making large-scale changes to their voter rolls.

(1,108 posts)Biden won Virginia by 450,000 votes in 2020. Makes me think this battle for 1600 votes is just meant to be more frivolous noise for their narrative.
