(3,087 posts)dont really care about Gaza, they are just using it as an excuse. If Biden had put an arms embargo on Israel, they would be calling him antisemitic and supporting terrorists.

(6,135 posts)And because voting for Jill Stein is a vote for Trump. Stein has no ability whatsoever to do anything, doesn't give a damn about it and is in Vladimir Putin's pocket. Stein is a money grubbing leach who can't earn a living by working a job. She stands no chance of winning the election, therefore, voting for her is a waste of time.
I think Bernie has it right. If we elect Kamala Harris, we will get the immediate cease fire, the humanitarian aid, release of the hostages and the rebuilding of Gaza for the Palestinian people. And in partnership with the Israeli people, who need to oust Netanyahu, a peaceful middle east and the neutralization of Hamas and Hezbollah.

I certainly don't agree with all of her positions, but she is far and away better than the fat orange racist moron who is her opponent.

(2,690 posts)the current administration. (She could, but it would be to the detriment of her campaign, and against her political instincts and loyalty to Biden.) She is a woman of color, and of Jamaican descent. She knows how the world works. No one knows what her policy on Gaza will be, but I would expect a significant change.

(54,984 posts)She can take any position she wants. She's speaking as a candidate, not Biden's surrogate. It was Johnson who undermined Humphrey because he broke with him on Vietnam. He was a vengeful prick, and Humphrey was right. Biden isn't Johnson.
Harris is trying to thread the needle on Gaza. We'll find out on Tuesday if it worked when MI's votes come in.

The alternative was too horrible to contemplate.
