The vet voice foundation has

got to be right wing. they have commercials out and mailers saying if you vote, it'll be public record that you voted, but not who you voted for.

This is a direct shot at maga wives that are thinking of quietly voting against their husband's for Kamala.

The wording is just right to scare them to think their husband's will know if they don't vote "correctly".

1. I think it might have the opposite effect. Their husbands can verify they voted, but will never know *who*

The lists of who voted is probably public record. But I know at least in my state - WA - when received, my signature is verified and the ballot is taken out and separated before counting. My name is not on the ballot and I guess the envelopes might be stored separately, but once received and verified they are not traceable to the actual ballot.

3. This wording is very similar to that tested by the Progressive Turnout Project

And it was the most effective language to be written on postcards to voters to encourage voting.
